I don´t want to give an arrogant attitude, but there are hardly
any potholes on the Autobahn and the very few animals that dare to
make attempts to cross ist tend to be flattened immediately, so
there´s hardly any danger in riding over them.

p.s.: Belgian highways are in an even better condition and nobody
cares about the 120 kph speed limit (140 is fairly normal in Belgium)
